Turmeric Tea Latte (Golden Milk)

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups of almond soy, or cow’s milk
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Pinch of finely ground black pepper
  • 1 inch piece of fresh ginger root peeled, or ¼ tsp ginger powder
  • Tiny pinch of ground cardamom
  • Tiny pinch of ground cloves
  • Honey or agave nectar

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients, except the honey, in a pot along with 1/2 cup water and bring to a bare simmer for 10 minutes, do not boil. Take off the heat, pour tea through a strainer in two cups and add honey to taste. I find that one tablespoon of honey does the trick!
